Ukraine Recovery Aid invites you to discover the fascinating art of Pysanka – a unique Ukrainian tradition recognized on the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage!
Pysanky are intricately decorated Easter eggs that are not only visually stunning but also filled with mystical symbols and hidden wishes. This deeply rooted tradition in Ukraine features designs of the sun, stars, animals, and plants, each carrying meanings of hope, protection, and good fortune.
Using the traditional wax-resist technique and a special tool called a Pysachok, you will create your own unique masterpiece – a personal gift for loved ones or a special keepsake for yourself.
All proceeds will go towards the renovation of a shelter and art therapy for 72 schoolchildren in Zaporizhzhia.
